Responsibilities
Function as mechanical design liaison between the engineering and sales/quoting departments.
Basic engineering calculations to ensure that designs are manufacturable.
Occasional contact with vendors.
Create mock-ups for customers in AutoCAD. These drawings must be created quickly and efficiently from discussions with sales department.
Requirements
Two years AutoCAD 2D design experience preferred
Could consider a new grad
Must have very solid mechanical aptitude
Ability to work independently
AAS degree preferred though not required
Strong Microsoft Office skills with Word and Excel
