Customer Support

The Customer Support Representative provides excellent customer care to customers in a timely manner with an emphasis on providing accurate information, effective communication and issue resolution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
oProvides excellent customer care to customers in a timely manner.
oProvides accurate information to customers in a friendly manner.
oSeeks out answers to questions within the materials and tools available.
oEscalates calls as appropriate ensuring a soft transition if an inquiry is beyond scope of knowledge.
oAchieves incoming call goals.
oMaintains product knowledge through training and continuing education.
oFosters a positive team atmosphere in all functions of Customer Support.
oPerforms other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
oHigh School Diploma or equivalent;
oHigh proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook);
oIntermediate computer skills;
oExcellent verbal and written communication skills;
oStrong customer service skills;
oExcellent problem-solving skills;
oAbility to keyboard 40 wpm while on the phone with customers;
oAbility to provide customer friendly etiquette;
oAbility to evaluate a situation objectively and review situations in a supportive and empathetic manner;
oAbility to troubleshoot issues, offer accurate information;
oAbility to work independently with a high attention to detail;
oAccurate grammar, punctuation and spelling; and can do attitude.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
