Recruiter - Manufacturing

Generac Power Systems ? Work with the leader in the power industry! Our office in Whitewater, WI is seeking a Recruiter I-Manufacturing. This role will support our multiple Operations facilities in Southeast Wisconsin. Due to high production demands, sourcing and hiring candidates in high volume and tight deadlines may be needed.
The Recruiter I is responsible for sourcing, attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent. This position will interface daily with the Human Resource Team to provide exceptional support in securing top talent for the Operations team. This position reports to the Recruiting Supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Source and pre-screen operation level candidates.
Utilize web-based applicant tracking system to maintain candidate data and post job openings.
Schedule phone screens and on-site interviews for candidates including coordination with interview teams.
Manage confidential and personal identifying information.
Provide timely reports as needed.
Ensure proper documentation meets compliance of the recruitment process.
Meet the defined expectations for the Affirmative Action Plan and the associated data requirements.
Participate in offsite Recruitment events such as Job Fairs.
Recommend appropriate sources for advertising.
Explore new ways to improve the recruitment process as the company grows and evolves.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Associate's Degree or equivalent.
2 plus years of experience in recruiting or sourcing candidates.
Additional Qualifications:
Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems.
Experience handling confidential information.
Experience working in a customer service environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interface with all levels of the organization, as well as all levels of external candidates.
Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel required to our other locations in Southeast Wisconsin.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
